Balan Tanur

Balan Tanur born in Malapuram Kerala, Completed BFA (Sculpture) from College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram. His solo shows include exhibition in Kozhikode, Kochi and Goa. He has also participated in shows at Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy state exhibition, Sopanam gallery, Kollam and Malayala Kalagramamam annual exhibition, Mahe. He has participated in several artist camps including the Kerala Lalit Kala Academy, Maxmullaer Bhavan Stone carving camp, Karnataka Silpakala Academy Sculpture camp, Terra fest camp, Urava bamboo construction camp Wayanadu, Ceramic design workshop at Dakshinchitra, Chennai, Global stone workshop with Sweden artist Stefano Bikkari at Mahabalipuram, Chennai. His works are featured in the private collections and various galleries in India and abroad. Balan Tanur presently lives and works in Kozhikode, Kerala.
