Byju born in Kerala, India earned graduation from College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram and took post-graduation from the M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat under eminent ceramic sculptor Jyotsana Bhatt and sculptor Prof. Raghav Kaneria. His early works are narrative in terracotta focusing on various genre life in the society known to him. Byju has participated in various National and International sculpture and ceramic camps, His activity as ceramic sculptor spans 35 years still active. He has setup his own small workshop at home. Byju presently lives and works in Thiruvananthapuram.
