Rajasekharan Nair, born in 1957 Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has completed his National Diploma (1980) and B.A. Fine Arts (1982) from College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, a Post Diploma in Sculpture (1984) and M.A. Fine Arts in Creative Sculpture (1987) from M.S. University of Baroda. He has secured many scholarships from various institutions in India (1984 -1986, 1989 -1990, 1992 -1993 and 1991 – 1993). Rajasekharan Nair has won many National and International awards including Henry Moore Award. He has been invited for more than 46 workshops and camps in India and abroad. He has conducted many solo exhibitions and participated in 14 group shows in India and abroad including Japan and Edinburgh. Presently he lives and works in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
