Jayachandran completed his BFA in1987, from College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram. He has participated in many Art camps, Group exhibitions including Arteria and Kerala State exhibition. He has also participated in State and National seminars. Jayachandran had a long teaching career as a Professor in College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram and Mavelikkara. He lives and works in Thiruvananthapuram.
