Dakshinayan Art Group, a collective of passionate artists who share a rich history of studying together in the same art college, proudly presents “Ten” – an contemporary exhibition that unfolded at the prestigious Gallery Space in Hyderabad in 2022.

In the wake of the profound resonance generated by Dakshinayan Art’s online exhibitions during the labyrinthine days of the COVID-19 lockdown, the urge to manifest our creations in tangible spaces germinated. “Gallery Space” in Hyderabad graciously extended an invitation to orchestrate a group show, marking a pivotal transition from the digital to the physical realm.

For this exhibition, we immersed ourselves in a preparation of four months of artistic passion, evolving into careful discussions to curate a collection that brings to life our collective vision. Each painting and sculpture carries the weight of thoughtful deliberation, a testament to the depth of our engagement with the creative process.

The show, “TEN,” emerged from a collective contemplation, embodying the essence of our unity as ten diverse artists. Beyond a mere enumeration, it encapsulates the harmonious convergence of individual narratives into a symphony of contemporary expression.
